Antique Elizabethan Carved Oak Revival Livery Housekeepers Cupboard Cabinet 1860 Recently Added drawing some of its influencesAn elegantly extravagant antique 16th Century Elizabethan Revival carved oak livery or housekeeper's cupboard, England, Circa 1860. The cupboard is in two sections the top section having hemispherical carvings representing a cut pineapple fruit, which was first brought back from the Americas in the late 1500's, during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I (1558 1603). Below is a frieze of corresponding hemispherical carvings flanked by a pair of circular
