Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn François Premier Hermann Lang emerged as thePrince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, 1900. The third son of Queen Victoria, Prince Arthur (1850 1942) married Princess Louise Margaret of Prussia at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, on 13th March 1879. He served as Governor General of Canada from 1911 to 1916.
